The plants behind the bottle

We buy our absolutes and extracts from extractors we trust, then blend every bottle by hand, in small batches, at our own table. These are the flowers, roots, resins and fruit whose souls end up in your oil, and the old work each one is known for.

Tuberose & Queen of the Night

Tuberose was once too seductive to be allowed. Renaissance girls were kept out of the gardens at night because of it, and French girls were warned never to breathe it after dark. Women tucked fresh blooms under their skirts to draw men to them, and it's said to sharpen the psychic senses. Queen of the Night belongs to the moon. It opens only after sundown and is strongest on warm full-moon nights. Together they are the night heart of our Jezebel Oil.

Heady, creamy white floral with a honeyed depth · an intensely sweet white flower, strongest after dark.
